The food itself awakens a brutal appetite, causes a tendency to overeating and aching pain somewhere in the pit of the stomach.
It is noteworthy that all the products from the list below refer to an exceptionally healthy food. This is their insidiousness: they can not be excluded from the diet, yet they should be consumed with caution.
WHOLE WHEAT BREAD
You are pretty sure that a peanut butter whole wheat bread roll will help you take the edge off your hunger until the very dinner? No way. Bread, even if whole-grain variety, has an extremely high glycemic index and raises your blood sugar level even higher than a Snickers bar.
Increased insulin levels can lead to weight gain. Ideally, in a healthy body, when glucose and nutrients are absorbed, insulin levels remain normal and the appetite is under control.
It seems that there is no easier and more nutritious snack than flakes with milk. In addition, it is an ideal option for a quick and healthy breakfast. This is an erroneous belief. It turns out that the less water a product contains, the less it is capable to satisfy hunger.
Even though flakes have fiber and vitamins, they do not provide satiety. In this sense, oatmeal is a good alternative in both usual cooked form and soaked overnight in water or almond milk.
A tip for fans of salad diets and fasting days: juicy greens are indisputably useful for your body, but they don’t promote satiety. On the contrary, they cause a strong hunger. If you want to give your stomach an unloading, complement your salad with at least some nuts, fruit or cheese, which contain protein.
All beauty blogs about juice detox claim that fruit and vegetable, milk and almond, as well as other smoothies will help you cleanse your body from waste and to unload, without feeling hunger.
There is a share of untruth in this statement. Our body does not recognize all the calories that come with liquid food. That is, the certainly useful smoothies “fly” through our stomach, leaving no satiety. Yet, if you consume these very fruits, vegetables, greens and nuts in their initial form, you will get an opposite effect.
BERRIES AND FRUITS
We don’t have to tell you anything about the importance of fruits and berries in our diet. Still, it is useless to believe that they will drown out the appetite and hungry rumbling in your stomach (some of them, like apples, will rather strengthen them).
